SPECIALTRAIN ORDERS March 2020
Hi everyone,
This mailing is to advise you that the AGM scheduled for next Saturday 21st March and the following Meet on 19th April have been cancelled.
The May 9th Meet is being kept under review and it will held only if the current Covid-19 situation improves.
We have tentatively pencilled in the June Meet for the re-arranged AGM but again that will be considered after advice is obtained from official sources.
Wednesday gang get together is also being cancelled until further notice but some members will be along this coming Wednesday to hopefully wrap up any outstanding issues.
At the moment the Crewe Heritage Centre will be opening as normal on 4th April weekend and will continue to operate until they are directed otherwise. This may cause some issues to our members and if you feel concerned about this then this should be flagged up as soon as you can.
We are after all a group who are with the odd exception all over 70 years old and if the Government directive to over 70’s is what is currently being publicized then the decision will be made for us to stay isolated.
The Heritage Centre volunteers are in the main over 70 too, so we will no doubt be advised of their decisions in due course.
