A quick reminder – our next meeting is this coming Saturday 10th November.
Please arrive as early as you can so you can park on site. A large number of people could turn up for the “Patriot” loco event.
Don’t forget the latest new build steam locomotive; a “Patriot” Class loco – to be named “The Unknown Warrior” is on display in the Exhibition Hall this coming weekend. There will be unveiling at 3pm of the new crest for the loco by Simon Weston CBE.
Andy Wicks and Bob Bevan have kindly agreed to cover Sunday 11th November and we appreciate them stepping in to help to operate the layout. Thanks guys!
We understand there may be a short prayer service on Sunday, sorry no more details are known at the moment.
It is understood that the December weekend opening at the Heritage Centre is to be just confined to the 8th and 9th of December, the week before our Christmas meeting. Volunteers to cover operating that weekend will be much appreciated. Please don’t forget raffle prizes for Sunday 16th December.
